Member / Guest Rules

At Taylorsville Country Club, we aim to cultivate a relaxing environment that upholds our reputation as a premier family club facility. As golf takes center stage in our offerings, members and guests are kindly urged to adhere to golf rules and practice proper course etiquette at all times.

Guest Play policy

At Taylorsville Country Club, Full Golfing Members can host up to three guests on any given day when guest access is permitted.  Please refer to the Golf Schedule for additional guest restrictions. Approval from the Head Golf Professional or General Manager is required in advance for groups exceeding three guests.

Dress Code

At Taylorsville Country Club, maintaining proper attire is crucial not only within the Clubhouse but also extends to the golf course and surrounding Club areas.

Men - Permitted
  • Business attire, business casual and denim.

  • Sleeved golf or sport shirts

  • Hoodies intended for golf.

  • Joggers intended for golf.

  • Golf Slacks or golf shorts. 

  • Denim free from rips, holes or exposure. For some events, denim may not be allowed and will be communicated within the promotional materials.

 
Men - Not Permitted
  • muscle shirts, sleeveless shirts, tennis or swim apparel.

  • “Cut offs” or denim with rips, holes or exposure.

  • Short shorts.

 
Women - Permitted
  • Sleeveless shirts with a collar or collarless shirts with a sleeve.

  • Shirts designed to be worn out (untucked.)

  • Hoodies intended for golf.

  • Golf skirts, dresses and shorts of appropriate length.

  • Golf leggings in solid and matte colors.

  • Joggers intended for golf.

  • Denim free from rips, holes or exposure. For some events, denim may not be allowed and will be communicated within the promotional materials.

 
Women - not permitted
  • “Cut offs” or denim with rips, holes or exposure.

  • Short skirts or shorts.

  • Tennis or swim apparel.

Pace of Play

  • Complete their round in four hours.

  • Always keep pace with the group ahead.

  • Play with a 'ready golf' approach.

  • If there are more than one open hole in front of your group, kindly wave the following

Course Stewardship

At Taylorsville Country Club, recognizing our shared 'maintenance' responsibility ensures a respectful environment for all players. Members and guests are encouraged to:

  • Repair all ball marks.

  • Replace and repair divots.

  • Rake all bunkers and tap sand from shoes before stepping on the green.

  • Strictly adhere to cart rules and observe signs throughout the course.

Mobile Devices / Music

"At Taylorsville Country Club, the use of cellular phones, smartphones, electronic tablets, or other electronic devices in audio mode is restricted in the Clubhouse, Golf Shop, or practice areas. However, audio mode for electronic devices is permitted on the golf course. Even in areas where audio mode is allowed, the spirit of our policy is that no one should ever hear a phone ring or hear another Member’s phone conversation or music.

 

Furthermore, we kindly ask members and guests to refrain from playing loud music. While general use of audio is restricted, music is allowed near carts on the course. Please be considerate of others, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere throughout the club.
